Kelly has a Master of Science degree in Human Nutrition and is currently earning a PhD in Exercise and Nutritional Science at Arizona State University. Her research focuses on implementing behavior change theory to encourage the adoption of behaviors conducive to promoting ecologically sustainable behaviors that improve health. Her areas of interest include plant-forward diets, food waste, and active commuting.
