We integrate Planetary Health principles into our work through programs in climate-smart agriculture, clean water and sanitation, renewable energy, and youth-led environmental and health initiatives. By joining the Planetary Health Alliance, we aim to collaborate with global and regional members to share knowledge, exchange best practices, and strengthen community-driven approaches to improve both human and ecosystem health. The Educated Choices Program advances Planetary Health by providing free, science-based education that helps young people understand how food choices influence human health, climate stability, biodiversity, and the well-being of communities worldwide. Our global presentations and educator resources integrate current research on food systems and environmental impacts, empowering students to make informed decisions that support both personal and planetary well-being. As a member of the Planetary Health Alliance, we are committed to sharing insights from our large-scale youth education initiatives, collaborating with fellow members to strengthen evidence-based Planetary Health education, and expanding access to high-quality learning resources across diverse regions. Co-Flourish is a social impact venture that empowers community-led nature-based solutions with transparent, Planetary Health–aligned impact measurement across climate, biodiversity, health, and equity. We apply this lens in all projects—for example, supporting community beekeeping for income and mental well-being in Tigray, Ethiopia, and co-developing youth-led integrated waste management and mangrove restoration in Zanzibar. As members of the Planetary Health Alliance, we will contribute open case studies, practical indicator toolkits, and training modules on theories of change, mixed-methods evaluation (including intangible impacts), and evidence translation for policy and finance. We seek active collaboration with PHA staff and members through regular knowledge exchange, matchmaking with locally rooted implementers and researchers, and co-creation of feasible, comparable metrics that strengthen financing pathways for high-integrity, health-positive nature projects worldwide.

Voces del Bosque advances Planetary Health by connecting people with nature through immersive sound walks, forest residencies, and creative projects. We study how these experiences support human wellbeing and ecosystem health, generating methods and insights that can inform broader practice. Jesus Joyous Christian Centre (JJCC) integrates Planetary Health into its faith-based mission by promoting the well-being of people and the planet through spiritual growth, community health initiatives, and environmental stewardship. Through programs such as climate-focused sermons, tree planting, and eco-health education, we inspire congregations to care for creation as an act of faith. As a member of the Planetary Health Alliance, JJCC seeks to collaborate with global partners to advance equitable, community-driven solutions that link faith, health, and sustainability. Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), Hungary’s largest and oldest university, is committed to advancing knowledge through research, education, and international collaboration. As a partner in the CHARM-EU alliance, ELTE is co-developing a joint master’s programme in Planetary Health, embedding sustainability, ecological resilience, and global health into higher education curricula. Through interdisciplinary teaching, research, and community engagement, ELTE intends to integrate planetary health principles across its academic portfolio and fosters awareness at local and regional levels. EuroNet MRPH (European Network of Medical Residents in Public Health) is a non-profit, international, independent, and non-governmental association that brings together European National associations of Public Health training programs, including both medical and non-medical residents. Our mission is to create a professional network among Public Health residents across Europe, facilitating the exchange of knowledge, sharing educational resources, and developing scientific research. By integrating Planetary Health principles into the training of future public health professionals, we aim to empower residents with the tools to address the health challenges posed by climate change and environmental degradation. OpenAQ is a “one-stop shop” for outdoor air quality data. Our free data platform empowers changemakers around the globe to solve air inequality, the unequal access to clean air. As a Planetary Health Alliance (PHA) member, we will share air quality data and related tools and training with everyone who is part of the global movement that PHA is leading, and connect with relevant groups to maximize the impact of open air quality data.

Sustainable Health in Partnership (SHIP) is a transdisciplinary platform that strengthens and accelerates initiatives tackling complex global challenges that affect health. The platform is a collaboration between Karolinska Institutet, the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Umeå University, Uppsala University, and Örebro University.

Over the past year, SHIP has launched a thematic track aimed at breaking down silos and fostering collaboration across public health, global health, One Health and planetary health. The initiative identifies both conceptual and communicative meeting points, building a foundation for deeper integration and shared learning.

One of SHIP’s overarching goals is to drive long-term transformation through innovative and scalable solutions to urgent challenges such as climate change, biodiversity loss, environmental pollution, and inequality — advancing sustainable health for people and the planet.

Community Action Against Plastic Waste (CAPws) operationalizes the principles of Planetary Health by addressing the nexus of plastic pollution, environmental degradation, and human health through rigorous community-based research, citizen science, and targeted interventions across vulnerable populations in Africa, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and the Caribbean. CAPws is committed to advancing a toxic-free circular plastic economy that fosters ecosystem restoration, promotes social equity, and empowers marginalized groups, particularly youth and women. Through membership in the Planetary Health Alliance, CAPws aims to contribute grassroots evidence, collaborate on the development of context-specific tools, and engage in interdisciplinary research and advocacy to advance equitable and sustainable planetary health outcomes globally.

Fempower Latam advances Planetary Health and gender equality by educating and empowering rural women in regenerative entrepreneurship and technology. Our work fosters regenerative futures by restoring and conserving ecosystems, enhancing human and non-human wellbeing, and promoting inclusive shared prosperity. Through our Bootcamp La Liga Extraordinaria, Incubation Programme, and Leadership Ambassador Programme, participants use a blended learning approach—combining gamification, hands-on projects, and experiential education—to implement high-impact, triple-bottom-line entrepreneurial initiatives that benefit Planetary Health. We aim to collaborate with the Planetary Health Alliance by sharing curricula, best practices, and practical experiences; co-developing research, remote events, masterclasses, and workshops; exchanging evidence-based insights; and supporting our cohort of Fempower Leadership Ambassadors across the Global South.
