Voces del Bosque advances Planetary Health by connecting people with nature through immersive sound walks, forest residencies, and creative projects. We study how these experiences support human wellbeing and ecosystem health, generating methods and insights that can inform broader practice. We look forward to collaborating with the Planetary Health Alliance to share knowledge, co-develop initiatives, and strengthen global understanding of the links between ecological and human health.

Jesus Joyous Christian Centre (JJCC) integrates Planetary Health into its faith-based mission by promoting the well-being of people and the planet through spiritual growth, community health initiatives, and environmental stewardship. Through programs such as climate-focused sermons, tree planting, and eco-health education, we inspire congregations to care for creation as an act of faith. As a member of the Planetary Health Alliance, JJCC seeks to collaborate with global partners to advance equitable, community-driven solutions that link faith, health, and sustainability. We look forward to sharing experiences from Kenya and learning from others to strengthen collective action for a healthier planet and people.

Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), Hungary’s largest and oldest university, is committed to advancing knowledge through research, education, and international collaboration. As a partner in the CHARM-EU alliance, ELTE is co-developing a joint master’s programme in Planetary Health, embedding sustainability, ecological resilience, and global health into higher education curricula. Through interdisciplinary teaching, research, and community engagement, ELTE intends to integrate planetary health principles across its academic portfolio and fosters awareness at local and regional levels. By joining the Planetary Health Alliance, ELTE aims to share educational resources, collaborate on research and events, and act as a bridge to broaden participation from Central and Eastern Europe, contributing actively to the global planetary health movement.

EuroNet MRPH (European Network of Medical Residents in Public Health) is a non-profit, international, independent, and non-governmental association that brings together European National associations of Public Health training programs, including both medical and non-medical residents. Our mission is to create a professional network among Public Health residents across Europe, facilitating the exchange of knowledge, sharing educational resources, and developing scientific research. By integrating Planetary Health principles into the training of future public health professionals, we aim to empower residents with the tools to address the health challenges posed by climate change and environmental degradation. As a member of the Planetary Health Alliance, we look forward to collaborating with the global community, amplifying the voices of young European professionals, and advancing initiatives that promote a sustainable and healthier future for all.

OpenAQ is a “one-stop shop” for outdoor air quality data. Our free data platform empowers changemakers around the globe to solve air inequality, the unequal access to clean air. As a Planetary Health Alliance (PHA) member, we will share air quality data and related tools and training with everyone who is part of the global movement that PHA is leading, and connect with relevant groups to maximize the impact of open air quality data.

Sustainable Health in Partnership (SHIP) is a transdisciplinary platform that strengthens and accelerates initiatives tackling complex global challenges that affect health. The platform is a collaboration between Karolinska Institutet, the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Umeå University, Uppsala University, and Örebro University.

Over the past year, SHIP has launched a thematic track aimed at breaking down silos and fostering collaboration across public health, global health, One Health and planetary health. The initiative identifies both conceptual and communicative meeting points, building a foundation for deeper integration and shared learning.

One of SHIP’s overarching goals is to drive long-term transformation through innovative and scalable solutions to urgent challenges such as climate change, biodiversity loss, environmental pollution, and inequality — advancing sustainable health for people and the planet.

Bangladesh is among the top ten countries most affected by climate change. We are seeking collaboration in the areas of education, research, access to finance, and technology transfer related to climate and health. We are also open to exploring other forms of partnership.

WCEPVI is dedicated to protecting and regenerating the ecosystems around Virunga National Park, recognizing the vital link between biodiversity, climate resilience, and human health. Through community-based conservation, environmental education, and sustainable livelihood programs, we actively integrate Planetary Health principles into our work. By joining the Planetary Health Alliance, we aim to share our experiences, data, and lessons learned with the global community while collaborating with practitioners, researchers, and organizations to co-develop solutions that benefit both people and nature. Turku University of Applied Sciences (Turku UAS) integrates Planetary Health principles into projects and curricula that foster sustainable wellbeing and transformative learning. Guided by our strategy for responsible, multidisciplinary education with regional and global impact, we build strong networks across sectors and disciplines. We collaborate actively with the global PH community to share knowledge, co-create solutions, and drive Planetary Health forward worldwide.

Community Action Against Plastic Waste (CAPws) operationalizes the principles of Planetary Health by addressing the nexus of plastic pollution, environmental degradation, and human health through rigorous community-based research, citizen science, and targeted interventions across vulnerable populations in Africa, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and the Caribbean. CAPws is committed to advancing a toxic-free circular plastic economy that fosters ecosystem restoration, promotes social equity, and empowers marginalized groups, particularly youth and women. Through membership in the Planetary Health Alliance, CAPws aims to contribute grassroots evidence, collaborate on the development of context-specific tools, and engage in interdisciplinary research and advocacy to advance equitable and sustainable planetary health outcomes globally.

Fempower Latam advances Planetary Health and gender equality by educating and empowering rural women in regenerative entrepreneurship and technology. Our work fosters regenerative futures by restoring and conserving ecosystems, enhancing human and non-human wellbeing, and promoting inclusive shared prosperity. Through our Bootcamp La Liga Extraordinaria, Incubation Programme, and Leadership Ambassador Programme, participants use a blended learning approach—combining gamification, hands-on projects, and experiential education—to implement high-impact, triple-bottom-line entrepreneurial initiatives that benefit Planetary Health. We aim to collaborate with the Planetary Health Alliance by sharing curricula, best practices, and practical experiences; co-developing research, remote events, masterclasses, and workshops; exchanging evidence-based insights; and supporting our cohort of Fempower Leadership Ambassadors across the Global South.

V-LIFE SAVERS Foundation is committed to integrating planetary health principles into its community-based initiatives aimed at improving environmental and public health. By fostering sustainable practices such as urban greening, waste reduction, and health education, we strive to create resilient communities that benefit both people and the planet. Myanmar Community Health Society (MCHS) is committed to advancing Planetary Health with the belief that human health cannot be promoted by public health programs or professionals alone, and it requires diverse actors including those who recognize the interconnected well-being of humans, animals, and the environment. Through our programs in WASH, maternal and child health, humanitarian aid, and inclusive education, we apply a One Health approach to guide staff and volunteers in understanding interlinked issues and potential health threats within our target communities. Our initiatives, such as the HappyAir Ecosystem and CheckAir tool, integrate environmental awareness with health promotion to build more resilient communities across the world. The University of Calgary’s Planeary Health hub, which is embedded in the Cumming School of Medicine’s Health Equity and Systems Transformation portfolio, has the mission to to embed the principles of Planetary Health and Sustainable Healthcare into all of the key activities of the Cumming School of Medicine: clinical care, education, scholarship, and community outreach. We also commit to ensuring we meet the key performance indicators of the AFMC Declaration on Planetary Health. We commit to partnering with the Planetary Health Alliance and its members to share resources, learnings and expertise in service of the overall PHA mission.

The Bangladesh Institute of Innovative Health Research (BIIHR) is committed to advancing evidence-based solutions at the intersection of health, environment, and equity. Through research, capacity building, and policy engagement, we address pressing challenges such as climate change, food insecurity, and the rising burden of chronic diseases in Bangladesh and other low- and middle-income contexts. By joining the Planetary Health Alliance, we aim to contribute locally generated knowledge to the global community, foster South-South collaborations, and integrate planetary health frameworks into education and practice. EquiRoots Climate Collective aims to build community climate resilience at the level of cities and bioregions. Through initiatives such as City Climate Cafés and bioregional water programs, we empower communities, cities, and companies to co-create solutions for climate adaptation and holistic health. By joining the Planetary Health Alliance, we seek to collaborate with members to co-develop educational programs, share best practices, and access resources that strengthen transformational initiatives connecting planetary, community, and individual health. We aim to integrate Planetary Health into our work by linking individual well-being with community and bioregional resilience, focusing on water, air, and soil quality.

The Global Climate and Health Alliance (GCHA) integrates Planetary Health as one of its core concepts, recognizing that protecting human health is inseparable from safeguarding the health of our planet. Through evidence-based advocacy, research, movement building, and communications, we work with 225+ member organizations in over 125 countries to address the climate crisis as a fundamental health challenge.

The Red CSA Colombia (Community Supported Agriculture Network of Colombia) is a national network that strengthens rural–urban connections, promotes agroecology, and fosters healthy communities through solidarity-based food systems. By supporting more than 20 CSA initiatives across the country, we integrate human and ecological health through fair markets, short supply chains, and participatory practices that regenerate ecosystems and improve nutrition. As members of the Planetary Health Alliance, we aim to share Colombia’s CSA experiences, engage in cross-regional learning, and collaborate on initiatives that link agroecology, food sovereignty, and community well-being.

The Pakistan Physiological Society – Student Chapter (PPS-SC) is a national, student-led initiative that empowers future healthcare leaders through education, research, and innovation. We incorporate Planetary Health into our work by organizing seminars and research projects that explore the connections between environmental change and human health, conducting community outreach on climate-related health challenges, and equipping students with future-ready skills in sustainability and entrepreneurship. As members of the Planetary Health Alliance, we aim to collaborate with global partners to share context-specific insights from Pakistan, co-develop educational resources, and participate in joint research and advocacy initiatives.
