Elis Dionisio is a young black woman from the northeast of Brazil. She has a degree in Biological Sciences and is now pursuing an education degree at the Federal University of Pernambuco. In addition, she develops research in the area of parasitology at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz) in Pernambuco. As a student and researcher, she is interested in expanding her research horizons and creating networks in different regions, not only in Brazil, but in the world in search of deepening knowledge related to Planetary Health.
