Chee Yang Tan
Chee Yang is a 4th year Medical Student from the University of Malaya, Malaysia. He is the chairperson of the Society of Malaysian Medical Association Medical Students (SMMAMS), which is the National Member Organisation of Malaysia in the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations (IFMSA). He was part of the IFMSA delegation to the 70th Regional Committee of the WHO's Western Pacific Regional Office. As a strong believer of meaningful youth participation, he believes that medical students and healthcare practitioners have an important and urgent role in ensuring environmental sustainability by highlighting the health impacts of climate and environmental changes.
