Ben Delbaere
Next Generation Network Fellow
Ben Delbaere (he/him) joined the Planetary Health Alliance as Next Generation Network Fellow. He has experience in the nursing field and obtained his Master of Science in Nursing and Midwifery at Ghent University, Belgium. As Next Gen Fellow his ambition is to build functional networks that are inclusive and welcoming for young people across the globe seeking Planetary Health guidance and opportunities. Apart from his activities at the PHA he works as a scientific researcher at the University of Antwerp at the faculty of medicine and health sciences focusing on human-nature interactions from a gender, inclusion and diversity perspective. When he is not engaged in professional activities, Ben likes to hike, garden and participate in plays and storytelling.
