Yves Jacket Nsavyimana
Yves grew up in Burundi with his three sisters and attended Ecole Saint Michel Archange. He is currently a 5th year medical student at the National University of Burundi, where he acted as the Director of the Standing Committee on Human Rights and Peace (SCORP) within the medical students association of Burundi (ABEM-Burundi) from 2018-2019. Later, he was inaugurated as a National Member Organization President of ABEM-Burundi within the International Federation of Medical Students’ Association (IFMSA) for 2019-2020. He has also volunteered for Peace Building Burundi since 2015, enjoys blogging at YAGA Burundi, and coordinates the YAGA’s partnership with YouLead (Youth Leadership) East Africa.
