Tess Dalton
Tess is a final year Health Promotion student at Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia, and has a previous academic background in commerce, speech pathology, and health sciences. She has recently become a volunteer with the Collaboration for Evidence, Research and Impact in Public Health (CERIPH), a multi-disciplinary centre within the Faculty of Health Sciences at Curtin University, focusing on a range of different public health and health promotion matters. Tess is passionate about the reciprocal relationship between the environment and health, and has had the opportunity to channel this throughout her degree through research regarding this relationship on campus, while proposing strategies for the university to take on board in order to mitigate the effects of climate change. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family and being out in nature, especially enjoying the beaches along the sunny West Australian coast!
