Jo is the Planetary Health Annual Meeting Intern for the PHA. She is a Doctor of Nursing practice student at the University of Minnesota specializing in health innovation and leadership. She is focusing her studies on Planetary Health.

Jo is the Pediatric Infection Preventionist at a large academic medical center. She earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from St. Catherine University and has extensive nursing experience in emergency care, ICU, Pediatric Peri-operative care, and pediatric interventional radiology. She has also dedicated many hours to volunteering with the houseless population in the Minneapolis area.

Jo is passionate about educating communities about the intersections of planetary and human health and hopes to create systemic changes that inspire everyone to honor and advocate for the sustainability of our planet.
