Georgia is an undergraduate medical student at the University of Newcastle and is passionate about climate action and medical student empowerment. She was one of the 2020 National Coordinators for Code Green, the Australian Medical Students' Association's climate and health portfolio delivered to 17,000 medical students across Australia. Georgia has been involved in student organising at both university and national levels, and is the incoming 2021 National Student Committee Chair for Doctors for the Environment Australia. Georgia is a member of the Global Green and Healthy Hospitals international network, is published on climate and health in the Medical Student International magazine and represented Australia in the Standing Committee on Public Health sessions at the August general meeting for the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations. She is determined to drive systems-change across the health sector and greater society to achieve climate justice and empower local communities.
