Nduhuura is an undergraduate medical student at Mbarara University School of Public Health and an alumnus of a four-week global health immersion course in Uganda entitled “Beyond the Biologic Basis of Disease,” which links clinical tropical medicine with social medicine. His track record of leadership includes past positions as Public Health Director for Medical Students Association, Chapter Liaison Officer to the Federation of African Medical Students Association, and member of the Committee on Medical Education and Research. His volunteer position as Continent Representative for Africa with International Student’s One Health Alliance piqued his interest in Planetary Health, and its concerted multidisciplinary approach towards solving complex challenges for healthier communities.
