Alex da Silva Sousa is currently a PhD candidate in Physical Geography at the College of Philosophy, Literature and Human Sciences at the University of Sao Paulo (FFLCH-USP). Graduated in 2011 with Bachelor's Degree in Geography and in 2016 with Master's Degree in Physical Geography, both at University of São Paulo. His research is based on the identification of vulnerabilities and potentialities of the natural environment and how human occupation interferes in this dynamic and consequently in the landscape. He coordinated the work of mapping the potential and vulnerabilities of the coast of the State of Ceará to the State Government and recently contributed to the founding of the Brazilian Club of Students of Planetary Health.
